Don’t forget the Marconi Veterans Association Annual Re-Union and Lunch, which will be held at the Marconi Athletic and Soda! Club, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford on Saturday April 15th 2000 commencing 12 noon for the Re-Union and 1p.m. for the lunch.
President for 2000 is Veteran Frank Dutton who for many years was Chief Engineer at Marconi Research Great Baddow. In 2000 we celebrate the famous Marconi 7777 Patent and also the Centenary of Marconi International Marine Company. Frank will have as guest speaker Dr. Alan Rudge CBE, F.Eng, FRS, FIEE, FIEEE, Chairman W S Atkins plc who was, prior to his current position, a senior director in British Telecommunications plc.
