Marconi Athletic & Social Club
The Veterans Annual Re-union over the past few years has been held at MASC in Beehive Lane, Chelmsford. This site is no longer owned by Marconi plc and the new owners British Aerospace, will no doubt be looking to turning this area into residential housing. In fact, the Chelmsford town plan confirms this. MASC have recognised this and a circular letter has been sent to all members. However, the MASC will not be moving for some four years or possibly more and it is rumoured that a new MASC will be built at the old Research Centre in West Hanningfield Road, Great Baddow.
Our Re-union therefore looks to be safe at Beehive Lane for a few more years.

Marconi Veterans Annual Re-union will be held on Saturday 20th April 2002. President elect is Bill Phelan ex MIMCO now living in Newcastle-on-Tyne.
