The Chelmsford Industrial Museum
From time to time we are given leaflets, handbooks and even equipment which has been found stored away in attics. We even get items from families where an ex-Marconi person has recently passed away. We are always looking for items for the Industrial Museum, so if you have something locked away, and you do not require it, please give our Editor a ring and he will ensure it gets to the right place.
If you get the opportunity to visit the Industrial Museum on one of its Open Days, you will find it well worthwhile. There are many artefacts from Marconi on display as well as items from other well known Chelmsford Companies. It is hoped that one day the Museum will be open on a more regular basis.
